Benchmarking Visit of the Center for Islam & Human Development, UMPSA to PISM UMT

Kuala Nerus, 13 August 2025 – The Sultan Mahmud Islamic Centre (PISM), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) received a courtesy visit from the Centre for Islam & Human Development, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) in a benchmarking visit that took place at the Al-Quran Studio, UMT.

This visit was led by Associate Professor Dr. Rashidi bin Abbas, Director of the UMPSA Islamic & Human Development Center, with the objective of enhancing strategic cooperation, strengthening brotherhood and exchanging views on activities, courses and financial management.

PISM welcomed the visit agenda as a joint effort to strengthen strategic relationships that benefit both institutions.

In the series of visits, the delegation was also taken to visit the Digital Gallery of Cultural Heritage, which features a collection of Al-Quran with Augmented Reality technology as one of the main attractions of this centre.

PISM UMT expresses its highest appreciation to UMPSA for this visit and hopes that the planned discussions and cooperation can be realized and strengthened in the future.
