Kuala Nerus, 11 September 2025 – Sultan Mahmud Islamic Centre (PISM), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) organised a Knowledge Discourse programme entitled “Love for the Prophet, the Foundation of Excellence” at Conference Hall 2, UMTCC. The programme, which took place from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm, was well received by university staff.
Guest speaker, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anas bin Mohd Yunus from the Faculty of Contemporary Islamic Studies, Sultan Zainal Abidin University (UniSZA), emphasized that the excellence of a Muslim’s life begins with love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW. He explained that love for the Prophet must be translated through practice, noble character, and efforts to uphold Islamic law.
According to him, love for the Prophet is not just words, but the foundation for the formation of a superior personality, a prosperous family, and an excellent society. Participants in the discourse were also invited to live out the Sunnah in their daily lives as a guide towards excellence.
